Join the Hamilton Public Library on the Village Green for our official Summer Reading Program Wrap-Up Pizza Party. Raffle winners will be announced at 2:30 pm.
Story Time
Tuesdays, 10:30 am

Join us at the library for reading stories, singing songs, and crafts! This event is geared toward children ages birth through 6, though children of all ages and abilities are welcome!
An Afternoon with Suzanne Bloom

Join us on the Hamilton Village Green for a performance by Reyna and the Rustics! They’ll play a whole set of family-friendly music that’ll make you want to get up and dance. SRP Desk will be open.
Digeridoo Down Under

Family Movie Days: Celebration of the Art of Studio Ghibli
Join us at the library for a movie and snacks every Friday at 3 pm.
Kiki’s Delivery Service, July 11th
In this anime feature, 13-year-old Kiki moves to a seaside town with her talking cat, Jiji, to spend a year alone, in accordance with her village’s tradition for witches in training. After learning to control her broomstick, Kiki sets up a flying courier service and soon becomes a fixture in the community. But when the insecure young witch begins questioning herself and loses her magic abilities, she must overcome her self-doubt to get her powers back.
My Neighbor Totoro, July 18th
This acclaimed animated tale by director Hayao Miyazaki follows schoolgirl Satsuke and her younger sister, Mei, as they settle into an old country house with their father and wait for their mother to recover from an illness in an area hospital. As the sisters explore their new home, they encounter and befriend playful spirits in their house and the nearby forest, most notably the massive cuddly creature known as Totoro.
Ponyo, July 25th
During a forbidden excursion to see the surface world, a goldfish princess encounters a human boy named Sosuke, who gives her the name Ponyo. Ponyo longs to become human, and as her friendship with Sosuke grows, she becomes more humanlike. Ponyo’s father brings her back to their ocean kingdom, but so strong is Ponyo’s wish to live on the surface that she breaks free, and in the process, spills a collection of magical elixirs that endanger Sosuke’s village.

Lego Day

Stop by the library anytime on July 5th from 10:30 am-12:30 pm to test your LEGO building skills. This event is open to patrons of all ages. No registration is necessary.
Library Dogs
July 5th, 11 am

Come in at 11 am to read to a dog! First come, first served. Remember to pick a book to read to the dog from the library before going into the Community Room!
SRP Craft Day
July 12th, 10:30 am

Join us for a special Summer Reading Program Craft Day on Saturday, July 12th at 10:30 am. We will have several craft materials available for a craft free-for-all and chalk for decorating our sidewalk.
Farmer’s Market Story Time
