Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Hamilton Public Library, Inc. (FOL) is a group of citizens in our community who are concerned with the library’s well-being: its active expansion and participation in community life.

With your help, the Friends can continue to help the library enhance services, programs, and facilities in the future.

The board of the Friends of the Library meet the first Monday of every month at 10:30

You can download a membership form here, or ask for one at the circulation desk. Several levels of membership are available. Completed forms can be returned to the library.

You can make out a check to the Friends of the Library and drop it off at the circulation desk or mail it to the library (13 Broad St, Hamilton, NY). The Friends are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all deductions are tax-deductible.

Volunteering your time is also a great way to help the Hamilton Public Library and Friends group. We occasionally have opportunities for community members to volunteer on a regular basis, periodically as needed, or for specific special events. If you are interested in volunteering, please call or stop by the library to make arrangements to meet with our Director.
