Create, Craft, and Learn at the Hamilton Public Library

Take-and-Make Crafts are back by popular demand, and for all age groups! We have a limited supply of crafts for you to take home, and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All supplies are included in the kits. Stop in the library to grab one today or call and ask us to set it aside for curbside pickup or delivery!

For preschoolers, spring forward with blooming flowers! Help your little ones learn about absorption while playing with water! Color a flower, fold it, then place on the surface of water and watch it magically bloom! This craft is best suited for kids ages 2-7.

Elementary and Middle School children can create their own coaster from repurposed materials. Weave your very own coaster (or decoration, however you see it) using an upcycled CD and yarn!

Teens and adults can create their own DIY “Pallet” coasters! Build your own set of coasters using craft sticks! Hot glue is recommended but not supplied, glue sticks are available upon request.

While I have you here, I just wanted to once again plug the Friends of the Library’s basket raffle! There are still plenty of tickets available for $1 each, 6 for $5, and 15 for $10. With over $200 in prizes, you’re definitely going to want a chance to win! All proceeds from this raffle will go towards the Friends of the Library.

Finally, a huge thank you to all the Village residents who signed our petition to get on the School Budget vote for May. Your support, even in just lending your signature to a form, has not gone unnoticed. Once again I feel grateful to work in a community that supports its library as much as you all do.

Thank you for reading, signing, raffle ticket purchasing, and mask wearing. Go ‘Gate!
