Tickets are available NOW and all proceeds go to benefit the Friends of the Library. Who are the Friends of the Library? Well, I feel like I’ve written about them before, but since you asked… They’re this amazing volunteer group that exists solely to fund initiatives outside of the Library’s annual budget. The Friends sponsor so many things at the library, it’s almost hard to list, but it includes: museum passes, ice skate sharpening, teen space renovation, event refreshments, public movie license (so we can show movies legally), and so much more!
But back to this raffle: One ticket costs $1, but $5 will get you six tickets, and $10 will get you 15. Stop in the library to purchase your ticket right from the Circulation Desk, or if you happen to know a member of the Friends Board, they will also be selling tickets outside of our building. The drawing will be held on December 10, so there’s not much time to enter – stop in and get your tickets today!
