As the temperature gets colder and the nights get longer, you might be itching for something new to occupy your hands and mind while we continue to practice social distancing. Luckily, the library has just the thing: Craft kits!
Back by popular demand, we are offering adult craft kits! Kits are provided by the library and contain everything you need to create a project from the comfort of your own home. This month’s craft is Do-It-Yourself Upcycled Book Page Pumpkins! Made with books weeded from our collection, crafters will loop strips of book pages into rings then watch as they magically form a pumpkin shape when you tie them all together. Kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis and supplies are limited. You can reserve yours by calling the library or stopping in. Do it! Do it now!
Next month will be a new craft, and while I don’t want to ruin the surprise, I will say that it’s something both “foxy” and “cozy.”
