Spend Spring Break at the Hamilton Public Library

Stuck home this Spring Break with nothing to do? Never fear, the Library is here! Not only do we have our usual selection of books, DVDs, video games, museum passes, and more to help you pass the time, but there’s a week’s worth of activities for the whole family to enjoy!

On Monday, April 11, we’re starting out the week right – with LEGOs! Stop in between 11 and 2 and build to your heart’s content! On Tuesday, April 12, we’re hosting a life-size Sorry® event at 2:00 p.m. Compete against other competitors on your own or work as a team, the winner (or team of winners) will even get a prize!

Thursday, April 14, we have two events, first an Indoor Picnic with a Movie at 12:30. This event is geared toward children ages 5+ and their families. We’ll have a bag lunch for each child and one adult per family. Registration is required for this one, so visit our website for more information. Later that night is Teen Game Night at 6. Bring your own device and play one of our games from Jackbox Games®, where you can go head-to-head with others, earning points for creativity. Snacks, drinks, and prizes will be provided. We’re restricting this event to teens only, sorry adults!

Saturday, April 16, we will have Pajama Storytime at 10:30, so come dressed for a nap! As always, we’ll read stories, sing songs, and more. Don’t forget your favorite stuffed animal! This event is geared toward children ages 0-7, though kids of all ages and abilities are welcome!

Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. we are holding an Indoor Egg Hunt with balloons. Good luck finding eggs under all those balloons! This one’s for kiddos ages 1-10. We will have multiple time slots available to limit capacity and keep everyone safe, so be sure to register online before this event!

Finally, Monday, April 18, design and paint some faux stained glass at 11 a.m.

Thank you for reading and visiting the library!
