Who’s New at the Hamilton Public Library

Welp, it’s become a tradition around here that as soon as our annual newsletter goes out, something changes requiring its immediate revision. Continuing with that tradition, we’d like to update our ‘Library Staff’ section to include one more name, Amanda Marshall!

Amanda joins us at the Circulation Desk from Morrisville, where she graduated with honors both from Morrisville-Eaton and SUNY Morrisville! Currently she is working on her degree in Hospitality Management, also from SUNY Morrisville. When she’s not working, Amanda enjoys many activities, including but not limited to reading and building LEGO® sets. Her recent favorite books are The Stormlight Archive series by Brandon Sanderson, and her recent LEGO® builds have been the Millennium Falcon and a Disney Castle! Please stop in to welcome Amanda to our crew!

What’s this? We still have space to fill? Great! Because I also want to tell you about an upcoming event. On Saturday, August 7, from 1:00 – 2:30, join us for a fun afternoon of crafting in a completely inclusive environment specifically geared toward youth with disabilities! All materials will be provided, and we’ll have special snacks for everyone who attends! This event is open to youth of ALL abilities. Family members of youth with disabilities are encouraged to attend. Registration is required, check out our website for more details. This event is being done in collaboration with the new ‘All In’ group that will be serving people with disabilities in the Hamilton area.

Thank you for reading, and for visiting the library! Don’t forget your masks!
